Not applied yet? Your visa depends on why you are coming. Start with the ImmiAccount page, which is where applications are made, and see Working Holiday (417) or Work and Holiday (462) if you are young and want to travel and work. For visa advice, use a registered migration agent.
Already in Australia? There is no visa label in your passport here, it is all electronic. VEVO shows your visa, its expiry and its exact conditions. You will need your passport details and your visa grant number, which is in the email or letter you got when it was approved.

Ambulance, transport and tenancy rules are set by each state.
