Your bond is held by a state authority, not your landlord, and you claim it back when the tenancy ends. Doing it before you fly is far easier than from another country.
Have ready before you start
- Your tenancy details
- The final inspection or condition report
- An address and bank details you will still have after you leave
Time limits and forms differ by state, so use your own state authority, and claim before you leave if you can.
