Resume

Your resume should be about two pages, shorter or longer depending on your experience. Put your most recent job first.

• Sections: personal details, skills, work history, education and licences, referees.
• Unpaid and volunteer work counts. With little experience, put your education first.
• List relevant licences with expiry dates, such as a driver licence, first aid or Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Ask referees first. Choose people who supervised you. A teacher, coach or community leader can give a character reference.
